About two weeks ago, LIME participated in the hand congress of the German Society for Hand Surgery (DGH) and German Working Group for Hand Therapy (DAHTH) in Münster. The most important innovation we could present about AnyHand is the approval as a medical device granted in May. The CE certification now allows the treatment of patients. Therefore, AnyHand is now ready for distribution which made the hand congress an important event in our calendar.

Our highlight was our talk on the stage in Münster: We presented some application cases of AnyHand in therapeutic practices in front of numerous members of DGH and DAHTH. It was a great benefit to have carried out four testing applications in different hand therapy practices during the past months. Numerous patients with different indications have already tested AnyHand. These practical examples are not only an excellent opportunity to show the area of applications, but also an important source of feedback form the therapists’ and patients’ point of view.

For the first time, our sales partner Detlef accompanied Pascal at the congress. The presence of two experienced LIME representatives increased the number of interesting conversations with the visitors. We were especially pleased to meet a lot of familiar faces whom we already knew from former congresses or fairs. Before coming to Münster, we had our exhibition booth updated and equipped it with a new illuminated wall. It now shows AnyHand with an inserted patient hand.

Due to the Corona pandemic, many trade fairs and congresses had to be cancelled, which is understandable. We were therefore very pleased that the congress in Münster could take place under the necessary hygiene measures. “The number of visitors was lower than last year – that was to be expected. Nevertheless, the event was a very important date for LIME, especially because we are in the middle of the market entry phase”, founder Pascal summarizes.

With this in mind, we look back on a successful congress and are very happy about the newly established and refreshed contacts. Hopefully, next year the hand congress can take place under the usual conditions.
