From 23 to 25 May, the 64th Occupational Therapy Congress took place in Osnabrück under the motto "Modern Times!?" - the focus was on digitalisation. Fittingly, Prof. Dr. Andreas Wagener reported in his opening speech on the development of artificial intelligence (AI) and its impact on everyday life.
It was immediately clear that we were at the right address at this congress. Not only is the future role of AI a good starting point, but the shortage of therapists is also an acute issue, especially among practice and clinic managers. Especially for new centres, finding enough staff is a big problem. Our AnyHand, which can compensate for the supply gap, was therefore very well received by the trade fair visitors.
It was a positive feeling to stand in front of our new trade fair wall for the first time and distribute the freshly printed brochures. Especially during the breaks between the workshops, the therapists had the opportunity to visit our stand and within the three days of the event we were able to talk to a large number of the participants. The most important step is to start the conversation - it was important to arouse the interest of the visitors with well thought-out questions.
We draw a positive conclusion from the occupational therapy congress: we were able to arrange numerous appointments with practices and clinics to demonstrate AnyHand there. We will also have the opportunity to give presentations on hand therapy at other events.
Next, we are looking forward to the IFSSH and IFSHT congress in Berlin in June. There we will also have the opportunity to present our company and AnyHand to a large professional audience on an international level.
