At the Rhineland-Palatinate Ideas Competition on 11 May 2016, we presented our HERAX hand therapy device and were able to convince the jury of several members, consisting of important industry experts. We were very pleased to receive the 2nd prize in the impressive ambience of the Centre for Nutrition and Health of the Koblenz Chamber of Crafts.

The aim of the "Exist" start-up programme of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Science is to establish start-up networks at universities and thus to link science with business more closely. The Rhineland-Palatinate Ideas Competition 2016 emerged from this programme in 2009 and now promotes innovative business ideas in Rhineland-Palatinate with the support of regional sponsors and the Koblenz Chamber of Crafts. Prof. Dr. Martin Kaschny from the cooperation network for start-ups from Koblenz universities was impressed by the growth of the competition: 81 projects were submitted in 2016.
For us as young founders, the ideas competition with its network from other competitions as well as to experts and investors offered a great opportunity to make new contacts. Our meeting with Klaus Wächter, the CEO of Business Angeles Rhineland-Palatinate, was particularly positive. In addition to our conversation during the event, he visited us in our office in Bad Kreuznach and we can continue to count on his competent support in the future. We are also very grateful for the contact with Wolfgang Nied from the Marienhaus Hospital Group, who became aware of us through the competition and has since been supporting our team in all matters relating to medical technology and as a member of the company advisory board.
