On 26 September, the Digital Transformation Summit took place in the Microsoft Atrium in Berlin, where we were able to celebrate a huge success: we were awarded the 11th
NEUMACHER Founder's Prize 2017 !
Almost 100 start-ups had registered for WirtschaftsWoche's Neumacher competition. In the first round, High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) selected the five most interesting start-ups from various sectors for the final round of judging in Berlin. Another start-up was given the chance to present its own business idea to the renowned jury via online voting. In addition to software for coordinating electricity from renewable energies, the industrial robot HORST and recognition software for autonomous vehicles were presented. An app for digital identity cards and a secure messenger especially for children also presented themselves to the jury.
Especially among this high-calibre competition with smart ideas, winning the NEUMACHER Founder's Prize 2017 represents one of our greatest successes, which we duly celebrated after the event. We want to use the non-cash prizes worth 300,000 euros for the development of a new prototype and the establishment of a quality management system - two important steps towards being able to launch our hand therapy splint on the market in the near future.
The NEUMACHER Founders' Prize, organised by the business magazine WirtschaftsWoche, has been awarded annually since 2007 and is supported by numerous partners. These enable the winners to receive an individually tailored package of non-cash prizes in order to master future steps in the best possible way. We are very grateful that LIME can also benefit from this highly professional support!
The Ministry of Economics of Rhineland-Palatinate has also published a press release on the event.
