Our cooperation with the first American partner

Last week, we landed our first international deal ! As our new business partner, Ed Marti and his Team Post Op
From Sunrise, Florida, Ed will build up distribution in Florida and Georgia in order to gradually place our AnyHand on the American market . In the current second quarter, two AnyHands will start their journey to the USA. We will then be able to make any minor adjustments to the local market and deliver the remaining eight units within the next few months.

In November 2020, we already reported on our acceptance into the German Accelerator . The funding programme supports promising German start-ups entering the US market. From November 2020 onwards, the experienced mentors accompanied us in weekly meetings and helped us network on site. Without the valuable contacts of the German Accelerator , this groundbreaking success would certainly not have been possible.
In August last year, a decisive step was taken on the way to the deal: Pascal travelled to Florida to meet the new partner and his team on site. We had already sent a first AnyHand on its way so that Team Post Op could get an impression.
Pascal thinks back to the meeting last summer: "The personal exchange on site was extremely important to get to know each other well and to clarify all the key points. We had a whole series of appointments in the short week on site - I am very happy how well everything worked out and am very excited about future cooperation!"
Daniel from the QM team had already initiated conformity with the requirements of the Food and Drug Administration, FDA for short, at an early stage, so that there is little left to organise so that patients can also benefit from AnyHand in the USA.
"All in all, it was a great success for the whole team, because we all played a part in making this cooperation happen," says Fabian, who will take care of shipping and import regulations.
Who are Ed Marti and Team Post Op?
Team Post Op was founded in 2007 by Ed Marti, is based in Sunrise, a Florida city a good hour's drive from Miami, and is a large provider of various therapy devices. The portfolio covers all major orthopaedic indications throughout the body. Founder Ed has already invented several therapy products himself, such as the T-Rex, a training device for regaining knee mobility. He also has an excellent network with the most important US surgeons and has made it his mission to provide patients with the right therapy device as quickly as possible.
