The TK annual reception on 18 June 2018 gave us the opportunity to present LIME's hand therapy concept in a three-minute pitch and at an information stand.
Health Minister Sabine Bätzig-Lichtenthäler found motivating words for the eight groups of speakers in the areas of digital and cross-sectoral care after the head of the Techniker Krankenkasse regional office in Rhineland-Palatinate, Jörn Simon, opened the event.
The pitches were followed by an exciting panel discussion in which we had the opportunity to report on the opportunities and problems in hand therapy. In this way, we were also able to draw the attention of Health Minister Bätzig-Lichtenthäler to the development potential in this regard. In the discussion with the audience, it also turned out that the digitalisation of medicine is forward-looking for the patient treatment of tomorrow. Our hand therapy device AnyHand fits exactly into this trend: doctors and therapists access a therapy tool online that allows patients to train independently at home. Through his feedback and the automatically collected training data, more targeted meetings can be arranged with the doctor and therapist - an increase in efficiency for all involved.
We are always grateful for invitations to events like the TK Annual Reception, because here we have the opportunity to have lively conversations with other founders and deputies from politics. It is a special experience every time to present our ideas and concepts to others. We emerge from the reception motivated and happy about the new contacts we have made!
