Stefanie, Uwe and Pascal at the LIME stand at the Hand Congress in Münster
The most important event for LIME every year: the joint congress of the German Society for Hand Surgery (DGH) and the German Working Group for Hand Therapy (DAHTH). This year, the two groups gathered in Münster to attend further training, exchange practical experiences and expand the network.
As in previous years , we were present in the exhibition area to present our AnyHand to therapists and surgeons. Co-founder Pascal joins the team meeting from the fair and tells us:
"The most beautiful experience: we don't even have to explain in many words how the AnyHand can be used or why it is a useful addition to therapy. Once people have recognised the function, the need for the AnyHand is no longer a question."
This year, for the first time, occupational therapist Stefanie, who has been a member of the LIME sales team for a few months now, will be attending to our customers around Postsdam and Berlin. Especially because Stefanie works as a therapist herself, she enjoys talking to interested people at the stand: "I really enjoy congresses like this. It's great to exchange ideas with colleagues in hand therapy and to discuss the areas of application of AnyHand with them!"
For those interested at the stand, the areas of application of the AnyHand are almost self-explanatory
After we were able to report on the first patient applications in our own specialist lecture last year, the AnyHand was also present in the specialist area this time: Dr. Eric Hanke , senior hand surgeon at the University Hospital Mainz, summarised the findings after the first year in practice in a poster lecture and emphasised the possibility of intensifying hand therapy with applications such as the AnyHand.
The overall summary of the Hand Congress is therefore extremely positive: Numerous new contacts were made, spread all over Germany. Some of them are already planning test sessions where the practice teams can try out the AnyHand for a whole day. And last but not least, year after year, the Hand Congress offers the pleasant opportunity to see familiar faces again!
